4H93 The Highland

Highland is a well-designed new model in a brown, plastic case. Priced at $5.95. Angelus is the same design with a different dial. It strikes the hour and half-hour. Costs $9.95.

I got mine at the flea market in September, 2001.  It had a live bug crawling around inside the crystal (they get in there through the reset signal hole because they're attracted by the light).  Leah made me take the clock outside to get rid of the bug out which had somehow stayed alive all day in the car.  As I'm shaking the crystal trying to get the bug to jump off, I drop it on the concrete.  I was so mad at breaking the glass,  I stepped on the bug.  Moral of the story:  I'm a big dope.
