Lawson Kerosine Water Heater
« on: September 15, 2013, 05:08:01 PM »
Well I said I wasn't going to get one, and low and behold, one shows up on eBay, a Lawson Water Heater boiler with copper coil.  The vendor said this was the top of the heater, but actually it was located on the side of a larger tank.  Lawson made some of the most iconic and extremely expensive clocks in the 30's and 40's.

This Water Heater boiler is 19 inches high, 7 inches wide at the bottom, and 8 inches wide at the top.  I know it was made after 1914 when Lawson opened up a new factory in Pittsburg PN from the information on the advertisement.

I will refurbish it, and make it look brand new.  I may put some of the flame light bulbs in the bottom of it to make it look like it has a fire in it, as someone did to my Lawson space heater.  I think it is a hoot.
