hi-fi stuff

Since we telechronies are appreciators of the finer things in life, I was wondering if anyone had a sweet stereo setup they wanted to brag about. My friend just hooked me up with my first real hi-fi system and I am blown away. I don't think I could ever go back now :)

Not Bragging - just letting you know i've got a couple of great systems. I've spent years building these systems to get them just right.

For straight audio I run a Canary Audio pure Valve setup into Whatmough Paragon Speakers. The actual components are 2 x Canary CA-309 power amps and 1 x CA-801 dual mono pre-amp. The Speakers are quite large at over 1.4m in height and weight 75kg each.

Its a really simple system and pretty high-end in the audiophile stakes.

For my home theatre i run a high end Cambridge Audio Receiver/Amp to power the centre and rear dual Bose Accoustimass speakers and sub, then 2 bridged Rotel Power Amps for the fronts into a pair of Bose 901's. There's also a powered Polk Audio Sub in there for good measure too.

I like my audio gear.
I had a great childhood. Just didn't think it'd last this long.
